Raquel Marín is a Spanish graphic designer with a love of typography. Her illustrations are full of letters which she herself designs, alongside clean imagery and detailed hand-drawn elements. She has designed book covers, magazines, cans, logos, wine bottles, chocolate boxes and more. By mixing illustration and typography, she provides her designs with a unique and distinctive touch, and creates messages with a great visual impact.

Over last 12 years she has collaborated with various international agencies, magazines and individual clients creating unique and eye-catching digital illustrations. She is known for her vivid, romantic, and thought-provoking art style. Anna often draws her inspiration from nature, classic and modern cinematography, science fiction and her favorite music. Hannah Clair for Pomplamoose Music Video

Bright Artist Hannah Clair started her illustration career in 2019 after graduating with a BA Hons in illustration and Animation, and this year saw the release of her first professional project; an animated music video for Pomplamoose Music. Hannah did the art and the direction for the video, collaborating with animator David Scott Kessler to create the beautiful visuals for the track Invisible People. We caught up with her to find out about her work and process, and what it was like to work on this project.

To welcome in the New Year, we are taking a peek at the fresh books publishing from our authors and artists this month. It’s an exciting start to 2021 for Ben Mantle, who has illustrated three titles in the list, including another of Lucy Rowland’s charming fairytale retellings, The Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Book. And we’re thrilled to see Flavia Sorrentino’s illustrations in Delivery to the Lost City, P.G. Bell’s third offering in the fantastic The Train to Impossible Places series.

From County Durham, Chris’s passion for illustration led him to pursue a career as a freelance artist and he now works on a wide array of projects, including the bestselling Ten Minutes to Bed series (Ladybird).
