Anna Baratashvili

Anna is an illustrator and concept artist based in Tbilisi, Georgia. After studying Animated Film at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, she discovered her passion for children’s publishing and storytelling through illustration.

She especially enjoys illustrating stories with deep emotion and meaning—ones that spark the imagination. She begins with pencil sketches on paper and finishes the artwork digitally in Procreate. Her illustrations invite readers to explore magical worlds and notice hidden details on every page.

In 2022, she was selected as the lead artist for Mrs Claus’ Bakery, the main Christmas installation at Landmark Mall in Hong Kong. Earlier in her career, she won first place in the international DeviantArt and Wacom illustration contest in 2009.

Her illustration work includes the bestselling title I Wish You Happiness, the Georgian edition of The Little Prince, and the illustrated series The Adventures of Scout. In 2019, Anna illustrated A Christmas Carol for Hansol Education Co., Ltd., as part of the World Classic Fairy Tales series.
