Paige Keiser

Paige’s childhood was spent playing in creeks, catching fish and frogs, and climbing trees around the woods of North Carolina. Her childhood dog, Captain Jack, was always by her side. She feels a very close connection with nature which often comes through in her artwork.

Paige’s works primarily in watercolors. She chooses her tools based on what best serves the story she’s illustrating. Lighting, atmosphere, and a bit of quiet mystery are all part of what makes Paige’s work unique.

Paige lives just outside of Washington D.C. with her two nutty chihuahuas, Piper and Cooper, and two gerbils, Smoky and Bear. Paige Keiser received her Bachelor of Arts degree at George Mason University. She enriched her art studies by playing drums in a rock band called, Desert Sky. She also created comics for both of George Mason’s main newspapers (her first illustration job).
