Julia is a children’s book illustrator with a talent for bringing stories to life through colorful, playful art. After earning her diploma in communications design from the University of Art in Brunswick in 2011, she began her career and has been freelancing since 2018.

Julia lives in the deep forests of the Harz Mountains, Germany, where she’s inspired by the beauty of nature around her. She shares her home with her husband, their children, and a lively pack of dogs. This vibrant environment fuels her creativity, which shines through in her illustrations.

Her work focuses on capturing the magic of childhood, from whimsical characters to cozy, heartwarming scenes. Julia’s illustrations are designed to spark imagination and draw young readers into enchanting worlds. When she’s not illustrating or wrangling her kids and dogs, she loves exploring the outdoors, always on the lookout for her next burst of inspiration.

Through her art, Julia creates engaging, imaginative experiences for children, blending adventure, curiosity, and joy into every story she helps tell.
