Diane Ewen is an Award-winning writer and illustrator. She loves the fact that illustrations are the first things that entice the reader to engage with a book. She is passionate about fairness, inclusion, and diversity within the creative world of publishing.

Her debut picture book was “Never Show A T-Rex A Book,” written by Rashmi Sirdeshpande and published by Puffin. She has gone on to co-create many books with outstanding authors including Maria Isabel Vegara (Little People Big Dreams) and the well-loved Dame Floella Benjamin, ‘Coming to England’

Diane is the winner of the Inaugural Jericho Prize 2021. Winner of the Queens Knickers award , the Anna Dewdney Award and one of the illustrators to win a Nibbie (National Book award) for ‘Hey You’ . She is currently working on her very first Author-illustrated title as well as continuing with exciting illustration projects.
