Arthur McBain is an actor and writer from Liverpool.

As an actor he is best known for playing Alex Myer in ITV1’s ‘The Trouble With Maggie Cole’ alongside Dawn French, Snowy Fleet in ABC TV’s multi award winning ‘Friday On My Mind’, and Askith in the major motion picture ‘Judy’. His theatre work includes the Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre of Scotland and The Lyric Hammersmith.

As a writer, his first children’s picture book ‘In The Dead Of The Night’ was released by Little Hare in October 2019 and is now published in three languages. His second picture book is due for release in 2022. He is currently working on a series of Middle Grade novels.

He is also co-creator of critically acclaimed fiction anthology podcast ‘At Your Peril’ and is currently an ambassador for The New Scientist Magazine. He is 28 and resides in London.
