Steve is a freelance Children’s Illustrator from the Romney Marsh in Kent, England. He has drawn since he can remember, and grew up with the best cartoons from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, which have been a big influence on his style and humour. He works digitally in Photoshop and draws on a Wacom Cintiq 24HD.
You will find Steve in his studio at his home, down the bottom of the garden overlooking fields and trees, occasionally being bugged by a cat that wants to sit on his lap and generally get in the way.
Steve has a passion for character design and telling stories through illustration, he likes to use humour in his illustrations to make things fun for the child and the adults alike and likes to hide lots of little details in there that may not be found the first time round.
