Valeria Giordano
Valeria is a freelance illustrator and artist, based in the south of Italy, drawing against the backdrop of Mt. Vesuvius and the Royal Palace of Caserta.
She likes to work with bright color, experiment with texture, and weave stories about the world around her. Since studying illustration at the Sculoa Italiana di Comix, Valeria is drawn to the humorous and spooky—reimagining old characters and inspiring new ones in her own unique style. She is interested in all sorts of storytelling and works from her home studio, surrounded by her favorite color, cheery sunny yellow. Valeria’s a big eater of soup and fruit pies, and satisfies her caffeine addiction with coffee in her favorite yellow mug.
