Tom Lancaster

Tom Lancaster is an emerging picture book author who lives in the Cheshire countryside with his Manuscript Quality Assurance Officer (daughter).

Tom has always been fascinated by the power of words and loves helping children (and grown-ups) make sense of their wonderfully unpredictable world with a giggle. His stories are packed with energy, warmth, and a playful chaos that keeps things exciting - much like his writing process!

Tom’s stories have appeared on multiple competition shortlists, and he won the 2024 Searchlight Best Picture Book Text Award with Bamboo Hullabaloo.
