Professionally, the lead illustration tutor at Plymouth, UK, he has honed his talents as a visual storyteller capable of evoking profound emotions and intricate narratives through his ability to expertly convey body language and expression with minimal gesture.

His work communicates complex themes with expressive illustrations that a child recognizes, featuring naïve charcoal textures and mark-making to engage young readers.

Influenced by his childhood in the 90s, Jack draws inspiration from the world of cartoons, playful packaging, toys, and advertisements aimed at young audiences. Jack enjoys sketching with a classic mechanical pencil or uni-ball pen, and he digitally refines his illustrations using a combination of software tools, machines, and coffee.
