Callie Fowler
Callie Fowler is a fantasy and romance author, penning stories for readers who spent their childhoods irrationally angry about how quickly the princess fell in love with Prince Charming. Her stories center fierce, emotionally complex heroines navigating power, desire, and survival in worlds that rarely make room for softness. She’s a former nonprofit communications professional with bylines in The Writer and numerous community newspapers. Today, she writes fiction, not facts.
Callie works as an emergency nurse, where she witnesses the messy and raw parts of humanity—an experience that deeply informs the characters she brings to life on the page. She’s also a graduate student, completing her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in fiction writing and publishing at Emerson College.
She lives in Oregon with her husband and a household of thoroughly spoiled animals. When she’s not writing, you can typically find Callie out for a walk, curled up with a good book, or exploring the Pacific Northwest—always with an iced coffee in hand.
