Kathryn Durst

Kathryn Durst is a graduate of Sheridan College in Ontario, Canada. She has a background in animation and has interned with Pixar Animation Studios in addition to working with various children’s book publishers including Puffin, Tundra Books, Simon and Schuster Kids, and Random House Children’s. She has illustrated many books including the NYT-bestselling children’s book HEY GRANDUDE! by Sir Paul McCartney.

When she is not drawing for picture books, she may be found playing the accordion, growing vegetables, painting murals, and making pickles. She lives in Canada with her grumpy mini dachshund named Chili Dog.
