Illustrator

Jensine (JEN-sen) Eckwall is an illustrator living in Brooklyn, New York. She shares a studio in Ridgewood with five other illustrators and cartoonists, where she works on projects both for clients and herself and listens to lots of podcasts.

Jensine graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 2013 and since then has collaborated with a variety of clients including including ​The New York Times​ , Knopf Books, Tundra Books, and HarperCollins Children’s.

She crafts images in a variety of media, including gouache, watercolor, acrylic, digital, and animation. Some things Jensine enjoys include video essays, expressive animals, rooftop gardening, contemporary fashion, and medieval illumination.
