Artwork by Fotini Tikkou

Fotini Tikkou was born in Athens.

She graduated from the Athens School of Fine Arts in 2009 and has been working as an freelance illustrator ever since. She is currently based in Athens where she lives with her partner and daughter.

Fotini’s work includes children’s books, editorial illustrations, book covers and art licensing projects. Her favourite mediums are gouache, watercolor and colour pencils. She also loves collage and sometimes she combines traditional and digital techniques. She also really enjoys making ceramics and creating personal work.

Her illustration style ranges from cute to funny and often portrays diversity and body acceptance in her artwork. Fotini is inspired by every little thing that surrounds her from flowers and kids to an art exhibition. She always sees new patterns and colour palettes in her everyday life and tries to incorporate them in her work. She constantly explores new techniques and materials to develop her style.

Fotini is represented by Robyn Newton — to work with Fotini please email Amy Fitzgerald while Robyn is on maternity leave.
