Artwork by Bryony Clarkson

Bryony Clarkson is an English Illustrator, living in the beautiful city of Oxford.

She studied textiles at Loughborough College of Art before studying for an MA in Embroidery Design at the Royal College of Art in London. She worked for many years as an embroidery designer for both fashion and interiors, as well as a design lecturer at various UK art colleges, notably Chelsea College of Art and High Wycombe, where she headed up the Surface Design Degree Course.

When she’s not in the studio, Bryony loves to read, run and cook. Travel inspires her work and the next destinations on her list are Japan and Sweden. In fact, if she wasn’t an Illustrator (which IS her dream job by the way), she would love to be a travel writer. Bryony works from a tiny studio overlooking her garden, where you will find her working away with Crumble, her much-loved Wheaten Terrier, asleep on her feet.

Bryony is represented by Freddie Dawson — to work with Bryony please email Nicky Lander while Freddie is on maternity leave.
