Sally graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in Textile Design. The course was heavily ‘drawing’ based and encouraged getting out and about logging everything in sketchbooks before being transferred into a repeat pattern and print. Sally has for the past 18 years worked in-house as a senior designer, designing greeting cards for clients such as Clintons, Paperchase and Sainsbury’s.
She likes to work both digitally (photoshop and illustrator) and traditionally, exploring a whole variety of techniques including pencil, paint, collage, stitch and creating 3D character designs. Sally lives in Northamptonshire with her husband and two gorgeous, energetic sons. When she’s not designing she loves spending time with family and friends and also going for long country walks - climbing Snowdon was a highlight! She also keeps herself busy crafting. She likes to crochet, embroider, make her own clothes, needle felt and get herself in a knot creating macrame wallhangings and accessories.
