Chloe Isteed

Chloe Isteed is an illustrator and animator based in Essex.

Inspired by narratives within the everyday, she uses painted paper collage to capture a sense of connection, whether that be between people, objects or landscapes. She is particularly interested in exploring the role of objects within storytelling, and believes that every object has their own story to tell.

Chloe loves the tactile, playful process of collage, and combines colour and texture to create images with a handmade quality. Replicating her collage process digitally, she uses animation to bring her illustrations to life.

She has worked with clients such as Let’s Talk About Loss, London Transport Museum, University of the Arts London and Bookblock.
