Yas Imamura is a children’s book illustrator whose warm, expressive artwork brings a sense of tenderness and wonder to the page. She is best known for – Love in the Library and Can You Imagine? – books that have received critical acclaim and awards, along with other titles that explore resilience, tenderness, and everyday magic. She has collaborated with both debut and award-winning authors, building a body of work that resonates across cultures and generations.
Imamura has also taught as an adjunct faculty member at the Pacific Northwest College of Art and is based in Portland, Oregon, where she continues to create picture books and illustrations that celebrate love, memory, and identity.
