Finn was born on a Sunday and after that he illustrated some things.
He started out creating atmospheric cityscapes and landscapes with a 20th century aesthetic but in recent years his portfolio has grown to showcase a wider spectrum of work from Editorial to maps to children’s books.
He graduated from Bath Spa (now Bath school of art) with First class honours and won Gold in the SAA illustration awards. In 2007 his short graphic story was a runner-up in the Jonathan Cape and Observer Short Graphic Story Competition. He won the 2012 House of illustration and Folio Society Book Illustration competition for his work on Aldous Huxley’s Brave New world which was also shortlisted in the V&A Illustration awards.
His work has featured in TV and film, notably in Danny Boyle’s Trance and Alex Garland’s DEVS. He has worked for a diverse list of clients including Emirates, Penguin, VisitBritain, Faber, German Film Awards, Prestel Verlag.
Finn now finds himself back in the sunny seaside of Brighton in the UK, where you will find him guzzling hot coffee, munching on some damn fine cherry pie and watching Twin Peaks for the twentieth time.
