Artist Event: Yas Imamura at Powell's Bookshop

Bright artist Yas Imamura hosted a reading of her latest illustrated book, The Bicycle over the weekend at the legendary Powell’s Books in Portland, Oregon. Written by Patricia McCormick, Mevan Babakar and published by Balzer + Bray, The Bicycle is the true story of Mevan’s family leaving their beloved home in Kurdistan behind, and how one kind strangers gift changed the course of her life.
