Aura Lewis is an artist, illustrator and graphic designer.

She earned her MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She is inspired by women’s history, fashion, wellness and social activism. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is featured in books for children and adults, on television, film, stationery, ad campaigns, branding, murals and editorial publications.

Aura’s publishers include Harper Collins, Hachette, Abrams, Sterling Publishing, Chronicle Books, Quarto, Scholastic and Simon & Schuster. Her Illustration clients include Macy’s, Hallmark, Disney, The New York Times, L.A. Times, Hawaii Business Magazine, Guideposts Magazine, Flow Magazine, yU+co.
