Fortunate enough to secure a job with a lovely greetings card company at the age of 18, Dotty was motivated to become a self-taught illustrator and designer and, more than 15 years on, is delighted to be working as a firmly established full-time freelance illustrator.

The inspiration for her work comes from many places: Children’s stories, animated films, fancy dress parties, cakes, sewing and crafts, unicorns. When not busy doodling, Dotty enjoys baking, music festivals and country walks.

Originally from Buckinghamshire, Dotty Lottie now lives in London.
