Tamisha is an illustrator and art educator. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Visual Arts from Rice University and her master’s degree in Computer Art from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She is a former art teacher for children at the New York Historical Society and Harlem School of the Arts.

Her whimsical art style reflects her childlike wonder and joy for learning and enjoying life. Tamisha also enjoys vintage art and clothing and jazz swing dancing.
