Laura Coleman

Hi my name is Laura. I am a freelance illustrator and designer based in Leicestershire. After working for a greeting card publisher for a couple of years I decided to go off on my own adventure into the world of freelance illustration.

I am inspired by long walks in nature, especially in woodland and I really, really love flowers and like to be surrounded by them as much as possible.

I work mainly in watercolour and gouache for most of my illustrations, and I often finish my work in Photoshop, where I may tweak colours and add extra drawn elements.

I work from home in a studio alongside my wonderful partner with all his music and technology, so it is a lovely creative space to be in.
