Ellise has always held an interest and passion for all things creative, putting the designs she can see in her mind on paper and canvas. From her earliest years growing up she always sought any way possible to express this creative instinct, which often included drawing outside the lines and reinventing the status quo.
In 2017, Ellise graduated with a First-Class Honours Degree in Illustration from Cambridge School of Art, standing out from her peers with an award for innovation and creativity. This was the start of Ellise’s journey of translating her intuitive creativity into commercial success. She then went on to work full time in a commercial design studio as an Illustrator and Designer for many years.
Ellise loves experimenting with different styles, inspirations and textures, to target different markets. Her primary medium is watercolour and gouache where she feels these give the most authentic and rich images for finishing in photoshop.
Outside of the working world, Ellise turns her creativity to pursuits of renovating her family home or making something indulgent in the kitchen. All from her rural home in the Cambridgeshire fens, an ideal location for a blustery walk to get the creative juices flowing.
