Liza Lewis is an accomplished children’s illustrator based in Southampton, UK.
Her fun, colourful characters are instantly recognizable and full of charm. Created using a mix of different media, they are inspired by her childhood memories of animals and play. Liza has a passion for children’s design and enjoys infusing her work with colour, texture, creativity, and fun.
Liza has illustrated a wide range of children’s titles, including the Flip, Flap, Find series for DK — a playful collection that combines illustration and photography — and the STEAM Stories series for Little Genius Books. She has also written and illustrated her own books, including the Animal Friends series, Things That Go Fast and Slow, and My First Book of Opposites, all published by Little Genius Books. In addition, she created a bilingual title for DK, Lift the Flap and Learn French 1, 2, 3.
Liza’s work has also appeared with global publishers such as Simon & Schuster, Dorling Kindersley, Early Learning Centre, Raspberry Books, Noodle Juice, and many more.
Beyond books, Liza’s illustrations feature across a variety of products — from jigsaw puzzles and games to animation, posters, prints, cards, gift wrap, and fabric. She loves bringing her designs to life in many different ways.
