Jennifer Jeavons is a British illustrator based in South Staffordshire, UK. Art was Jennifer’s passion at school and her love of drawing led her to studying Illustration at university. Following her degree, she began a career designing Babywear. Clients include Marks and Spencer, Debenhams, George at Asda, Nutmeg at Morrisons, F&F at Tesco, M&Co, Target Australia, Mini Cuddles at John Lewis, Babyshop Arabia and Pepco Poland.
Her experience in the fashion industry spans over a decade and has given her amazing opportunities to travel for research to Florence, Antwerp, Cologne, Dubai and Paris. The trips she took to India to visit the factories where her designs were developed, gave her a great insight into the manufacturing process.
She has also worked with greetings card clients such as Card Factory and Thortful. Although Jennifer mostly works digitally, she also sketches and uses hand painted elements in her work.
Jennifer’s research is varied and her inspiration includes her tabby cat at home, online and in-store trends, trips to the Zoo and photographs from her travels. When not drawing, she likes to spend time in the garden, practice yoga, visit museums and go for countryside walks.
