Celia Ivey

Celia Ivey is a British/French illustrator born with dwarfism, currently based in Bristol, U.K. She attained her BA (Hons) in Visual Communication & Illustration at the University of West London. Aside from her love of brightly-coloured jumpers and a tendency to laugh at her own jokes, she is passionate about visual language and spends her time immersed in a vibrant world of pop art, comics and animation.

Celia works exclusively on an iPad Pro, as she finds it to be the most accessible medium–portable, and greatly facilitated to produce finished work. As a disabled artist, Celia has a unique perspective that is invaluable to produce nuanced storytelling, combined with her ever-present love of lively colour and a fluid, playful line.
