I AM NOT A VAMPIRE to be illustrated by Riley Samels published by Little Bee Books and GLAAD!

Actor Miles McKenna (l.) is writing his debut childrens book, I AM NOT A VAMPIRE, to be published by Little Bee Books and in partnership with GLAAD. Illustrations by Bright artist Riley Samels (r.)! The story follows Arlo, who is not a vampire, but wants to prove to his vampire family that he still belongs. Publication is scheduled for May 6, 2025.

Riley told Little Bee Books, “I’m so excited to be a part of such an important project. Stories from the LGBTQIA+ community being openly supported and broadcasted to such a wide audience is such a gift and I feel blessed to be a part of it. I hope folks of all walks of life can see themselves in a story like this.”
