Dan has been drawing as a means to understand the world around him for as long as he can remember. Largely inspired by the animated shows he would watch growing up, and the animal life he would see in the outside world, he followed this path throughout his life and education.
After graduating from the Arts University Bournemouth in 2014 with a BA in Illustration, he went on to win Gold at The Creative Consience Awards that same year, for a short animation showcasing his experiences of depression. Shortly after that he was picked up by The Bright Agency, and has since gone on to work with a wide range of clients such as Scholastic, Oxford University Press, Macmillan and even Disney/Pixar.
Nowadays you can find him at his computer, producing digital art for various clients, honing his character and environment skills, or getting lost within a great fantasy world of a game or show. That, or traversing Britain’s muddy woods and fields with his beloved dog, ever in awe at the beauty of the natural world.
