Product showcase | Gilded Greetings and Gorgeous Gift-wrap!

Another month, another fresh and fabulous horde of fantastic product samples, featuring talented Bright artists’ brilliant designs, courtesy of our very lovely clients!

There’s something really rather special about seeing, and holding, a brand new, market-ready product that represents the culmination of a design project - whether that is an individual greetings card design, or a whole foil-gilded range - and we are delighted to be able to share just a few examples of commissioned artworks (as well as existing portfolio pieces) that are now enjoying a three-dimensional life in the big wide world!

A highly skilled freelance illustrator and surface pattern designer with many years’ experience in creating designs for myriad products - including homewares, stationery and children’s apparel to name but a few - Claire Wilson has teamed with long-established greetings card publisher, Noel Tatt, to create a stunning new range of designs with a beatifully ‘luxe’ aesthetic.

The square-format Sakura range, finished with gold foil, embossing and a gem, encompasses an array of themes - from artisanal gins and botanicals to Japanese pagodas, delicate florals to artful alpacas - all demonstrating Claire’s signature detailing in a sophisticated limited palette.

Claire has again collaborated with Noel Tatt to create a range of vibrant, energetic typograhpy-led designs for the publisher’s extensive, contemporary range, Spritz.

Claire’s designs for Spritz include a foil-gilded découpaged element and feature a whole array of occasions and themes, each framed by a patina of tiny foil ‘sprinkles’.

A whole host of Bright artists have contributed to The Original Poster Company’s latest catalogue, with designs ranging from bold typography-led artwork to delicately-foiled filigree, abstract pattern to traditional painterly pieces and pretty well everything in between.

Laura Coleman’s beautifully delicate, gently whimsical watercolour artwork was chosen by PaperRose’s Avocado Design for their new Jasmine range:

Laura’s super-sweet designs celebrate a range of sending occasions, and have been enhanced with subtle embossed details for a range of smaller square-format cards.
