Sofia is a Portuguese illustrator and designer of colorful and playful artwork that aims to spark joy! Her creative foundation began in early childhood, nurtured by family, supportive educators, and a love for doodling. That joyful urge to create is still the heart of Sofia’s work today, blending the magic of childhood with details of everyday life. Since graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Design she had the opportunity to collaborate with amazing people - authors, publishers and brands - on all sorts of creative projects across Europe and beyond. Using a mix of traditional media and digital tools in her work, her versatile skill set spans book illustration, art licensing, product design and more. Whether it’s a children’s picture book, greeting cards or illustrated puzzles, Sofia is passionate about crafting heartfelt visuals full of personality and bringing stories to life with empathy and visual charm.

Sofia enjoys thrifting and loves all things Christmas! She’s also a big foodie so in her spare time, chances are that you could also find her in the kitchen doing a fair amount of cooking or baking.
