Colleen is a children’s book author and illustrator from County Antrim, Northern Ireland, where she lives with her family.

She graduated from the Cambridge School of Art masters course in Children’s Book Illustration.

Her recently published titles include Brown Bears (Walker Books), A Crocodile Should Never Skip Breakfast and the award winning Our Green City (Kids Can Press).

Colleen especially loves illustrating animals and people, capturing their emotions and building stories from lived childhood experiences. She works mostly in traditional and mixed media and loves sketching her family and exploring new ways to have fun with her illustration.
