Xanthe is an illustrator and designer living the Hampshire countryside with her husband, daughter and their dog, Hercules. She has a love of vibrant colour, and it’s rare to spot her without red lipstick, a boldly patterned outfit or a sketchbook close at hand.
Working primarily in digital illustration, Xanthe weaves in handmade textures and tactile details to give her work warmth, energy and a lovingly crafted feel. She delights in creating humorous characters and whimsical worlds filled with charm and expressive storytelling. She is particularly fond of drawing scenarios that have gentle mischief and scenes that people can happily get lost in.
Inspired by the magic of everyday family life and the joy of shared reading, Xanthe strives to create stories that children and parents will want to return to time and time again and always spark a smile.
