Dana SanMar is a Colombian illustrator and graphic designer currently established in Decatur, Georgia.

Her love for illustration started at an early age due to her parent’s love for books. Her mother’s exposure to arts and crafts nourished her love for creating things by hand, while her dad fed her curiosity and taught her the importance of being resourceful. Her interest in storytelling through images guided her to pursue a career in graphic design and illustration. In 2019 she graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design M.F.A. Illustration program, and currently works as a freelance Illustrator and graphic designer. Dana’s favorite materials to work with are paper, glue, gouache, and her iPad. Dana´s work has been recognized by international illustration and design institutions like Red Dot Awards, 3x3 Magazine, Columbia Scholastic Press Association, and more.
