Sofia is a children’s book illustrator, designer and foodie based in Portugal, who loves drawing young characters and whimsical storytelling.

Her passion for illustration goes all the way back to her childhood years when her enthusiastic urge to create and doodle was nurtured by family and educators, mostly through drawing, painting and collage. Nowadays, using a mix of both traditional and digital ends, her sweet and colorful illustrations aim to spark joy with a pinch or two of magic!

Some of her clients includes: Hachette Children’s Group, Igloo Books, Scholastic Inc., Usborne Publishing.

Besides illustrating for children’s books, she also creates colorful artwork for Art Licensing and when she’s not creating art, chances are that you’ll find her either bullet journaling or in the kitchen doing a fair amount of cooking/baking.
