Pip Cornell

Pip lives in Buckinghamshire, UK.

She studied Graphic Design at Preston Polytechnic, graduated with an MA in Narrative Illustration from Brighton University and, more recently, won a shiny gold medal from ‘Go Ape’ in Wendover Woods. One of these is very useful when writing children’s books.

Bagpuss aside, Pip’s true love has always been books, and in her publishing life she’s been submerged in stories or over twenty years; working as a picture-book Art Director for some of London’s best-loved children’s publishers, creating novelty formats and helping words and pictures kindly on their journey from the brain to the page. (Usually with a sprinkling of glitter!)
