Olivier is a French illustrator based in the countryside of Ardèche. He works mainly with ink, watercolor, and digital tools on iPad, blending traditional textures with a fresh, expressive line. Inspired by nature and everyday life, he enjoys sketching people in cafés and capturing quiet, human moments with warmth and spontaneity.
He studied briefly at Atelier de Sèvres in Paris before developing his style independently. For over twelve years, he has illustrated for leading French children’s publishers, including J’aime Lire, Astrapi, Milan, Didier Jeunesse, and Fleurus.
Olivier is now focusing on more personal projects, exploring poetic and narrative forms. He’s French, fluent in French, speaks good English, and is open to international collaborations. Fun fact: he spent nearly ten years working Saturdays in a bakery—observing life, one croissant at a time.
