Marina graduated with a degree in architecture in 2003 and began her career in commercial architecture, but the birth of her first child and her growing love for children’s books led her to discover her true passion—illustration. Since 2006, Marina has joyfully dedicated herself to bringing stories to life through her artwork.
She has illustrated more than 50 children’s books, captivating audiences ranging from early readers to young adults. Combining her background in fine arts and architecture, she creates painterly, textured illustrations filled with warmth and charm. Marina draws inspiration from nature, animals, and everyday moments.
Her work has been published internationally, and she has collaborated with independent authors and small publishers worldwide. She lives in Argentina, working from her cozy home studio, always accompanied by a cup of coffee and her cat Luna curled up nearby. When she’s not bringing stories to life through her illustrations, she finds inspiration on long walks along the coast with her dog Bailey.
