Kübra lives in a seaside town in Turkey called Ayvalık. Before moving to this quiet little town, she completed her design education at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Interior Architecture, in Istanbul. After working as a designer in various fields, she began creating illustrations to be part of the children’s stories she had loved reading as a child. In her adult life, she has built a universe where she can still be a child.
Kubra loves using bright colours in her drawings and creatin entertaining fiction that is sure to bring big smiles to children’s faces. She primarily works in a digital environment, using Photoshop and Procreate, but her crayons and brushes are always on her desk, ready to accompany her.
In her free time, between drawing sessions, she loves traveling, walking in nature, visiting flea markets, and discovering the stories and souls of antique objects. She enjoys having picnics at the end of long nature walks. In the sketchbook she always carries with her, she can’t resist sketching the streets, landscapes, and moments that captivate her.
The stories of the people she meets and loves, as well as the landscapes she witnesses, are a constant source of inspiration for her.
