After art school and her initial editorial work in Italy, Giuditta, Judi Abbot moved to London. There, she began publishing with major publishing houses like Simon and Schuster, Random House, and Little Tiger Press, and her books have circled the globe with co-editions in China, Thailand, Australia, France, Belgium.

The simple forms, especially of her animals, and vibrant colours have made her style recognisable in the world of publishing. She works with acrylics, pastels, and digitally.

For more than 15 years, she has been living in London, balancing her family, her books, and the art and illustration workshops she organises in schools and clubs.
