Jacopo Moruzzi, aka Jackmoruz on social media, is a comic artist from Bologna, Italy. Born in 1993, Jacopo lives and works in a little town near the woods, surrounded by deers, boars and badgers. He has been sharing illustrations, sketches and comic strips full of crazy and hysterical characters for more than 10 years on the internet. In 2021 he began working with Italian webcomic platform and publisher Tacotoon on his debut graphic novel Punk Truffle, which was then published as physical book in September 2023 by publisher Edizioni BD. The story revolves around Silvia Sberla, a rebellious and witty young girl, already protagonist of many of Jacopo’s social media strips, dealing with her mental health issues while going on adventures in the woods with her friends. In 2022 Jacopo began working with another Italian publisher, Gigaciao, for their monthly magazine Scottecs Gigazine, as illustrator for their new series Mega Tree Majokko. The series was then published as a color collection in April 2025.

Since 2023 he’s also been teaching comics classes and workshops to kids and teens, in collaboration with public libraries, festivals, cultural associations and schools.

He really loves to draw and fills tons of sketchbooks and notebook pages every time he gets the chance!
