Gabriela was born and lives in São Paulo, Brazil and has a degree in Visual Arts and a postgraduate degree in Graphic Design.

She has illustrated more than 10 books including, ‘The Giraffe Belka’ which was a finalist in the 55th International Illustrators Exhibition at the Bologna Children’s Fair. She was also a finalist for the first FILEX Prize with the ‘Imaginary Cities’ series.

Her illustrations are made with digital painting but she also experiments with collage, mixed media and gouache painting.

Gabriela loves drawing stories, making and eating carrot cake, taking care of her plants and walking her dog Filó.
