Anni Betts creates bright, lively pictures for books, magazines, puzzles, greeting cards, calendars and more. She finds inspiration in nature, history and travel, and specialises in drawing animals, plant life, landscapes, people and lettering. Her detailed illustrations are drawn using digital coloured pencil and watercolour, in a wide spectrum of vibrant colours.

Originally from Illinois, she now lives in the charming and historic city of Durham, England, with her wonderful husband and two amazing children. When not illustrating, Anni can be found outside on a long walk, rockpooling and fossil hunting with her family, baking something sweet, or sewing.
