Anna Shepeta is a neurodivergent artist and illustrator originally from Ukraine. She currently lives by the Baltic Sea in the small town of Gdynia, Poland. Anna enjoys traveling, seaside walks, collecting pine cones, stones, and shells, and delights in coffee with orange juice.
Anna illustrates books and creates artwork for various projects. Since 2020, when she began her career as an illustrator, she has worked with publishers such as Nosy Crow, Quarto, Ivy Kids, Albatros Media, and HarperCollins Publishers.
She has been drawing since childhood and is passionate about exploring new materials, which has led her to work with oil paints, acrylics, oil pastels, ink, colored pencils, and watercolors. She constantly explores new techniques and materials to develop her style. Anna also keeps sketch diaries and creates small comics. Beyond paper and canvases, she has woven tapestries and worked with ceramics. Currently, her passion is knitting and crocheting.
