For over twenty years, The Bright Agency has evolved from one of the UK's leading illustration agencies, at one point representing nearly 10% of the children's illustration market into a full-service Agent House spanning literary, film, television and brand licensing.

We are known for doing things differently. By integrating publishing, screen and licensing strategy under one roof, we manage IP intelligently, build a marketing halo around our brands and deliver true 360° representation accelerating what is already working while unlocking new opportunity.

What We Have Done and Do

Bright has driven success for emerging and breakout properties including The Storm Whale, The Bear and the Piano, and Supertato — the latter adapted for television by BBC. Our clients have also achieved major screen adaptations, including The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland, produced by Lupus Films for Universal Pictures.

We are now entrusted with established and heritage properties — brands with history, cultural value and loyal audiences. What excites us is bringing the same entrepreneurial energy we apply to start-ups to these enduring names: refreshing positioning, widening audiences and future-proofing relevance without losing authenticity.
