Renowned for its focus on the aesthetic and a graphic-design-led approach to its catalogue, Netherlands publisher Gestalten commissioned Jess to create a series of exciting map artwork to complement The Grand Hostels guide by travel writer and blogger, BudgetTraveller.

The artist’s personality-filled illustrations and bright, clean palette, coupled with her unique hand-lettered annotations, lend a familiar, journal-like dimension to this guide, designed for travellers on a budget but with a thirst for the authentic, local and exciting!
