• Previous experience in Children’s Publishing industry essential
• Rights or Sales background preferred

What You’ll Do:

As a Field-Based Agent, your role will involve traveling throughout the UK and Europe, making meetings and engaging with publishers and showcasing compelling artwork. Your charismatic interpersonal skills will be crucial as you cultivate key relationships and negotiate the best deals for artists. Explore the Art side of publishing like never before, while ensuring that every project you manage is completed to perfection!

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate client data and contracts through our central database
• Negotiate and close deals, while retaining rights for our artists
• Present artwork with a comprehensive understanding of diverse art styles
• Oversee various client projects from inception to completion, working with our Contracts and Royalties team to make sure all paperwork and contracts are on point
• Scout and onboard new talent while refining existing artist portfolios
• Create engaging blog content and email campaigns to drive marketing initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

• A genuine enthusiasm for art and publishing
• Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills
• An eye for visual design and knowledge of international art styles
• A valid driver’s license and access to a car for travel
