Kate Segal is ARTit Landscape Artist of the Year

Kate Segal was selected as ARTit’s Landscape Artist of The Year, an award given for her gorgeous landscape illustrations. Kate recently joined The Bright Agency, bringing with her unique compositions and sumptuous colour palettes.

Kate’s artistic journey began with childhood visits to New York City museums, including MoMA, The Guggenheim, and The Whitney, where she developed an early love for abstract and contemporary art. Influenced by artists such as Henri Matisse, Hilma af Klint, and David Hockney, she also drew inspiration from her grandmother, who was an illustrator in the 1960s and known for her Marimekko-inspired style.

Kate is also in contention for the People’s Choice Award for their 2024 honours. Click here to cast your vote.
