Artist Spotlight: Catherine Shaw

Catherine Shaw is a professionally trained designer who has worked within the greetings card industry for almost 10 years.

As an experienced range-planner, covering the creative process all the way from initial concept to final artwork, her love for colour and pattern flow into her work. She designs using a variety of media, usually starting with good old-fashioned pen and paper, and working with a range of traditional painting techniques to create initial visuals. The use of digital tools then allows her to refine and develop the artwork, bringing her designs to life.

Catherine loves spending time with her family in the Great British outdoors, and having fun with her two inspiring daughters and husband.
